Doubt assails me on all sides,

I stir the Heart inside my Mind;

elemental fire has devoured its tail,

Dragon turns red inside my Grail!

A cooler Spirit is harder to detect,

Flame of the Heart rises like Myst;

fire destroyed then abandoned me,

a higher Crucible forged yet empty!

A new mythical narrative required,

Red Dragon is beyond this world;

a cool Spirit diStills~out into Blood,

coagulates Flesh of eternal Bread!

A new Page in the Book of Heaven,

a Chapter about Rubedo's Dragon;

she guards a Pearl inside her Wave,

beyond fire upon the Moon of Love.

No wonder I feel dead to the world,

the Alien blast-off leaves me cold;

drinking Moon's Blood in my Dish,

on the Altar of elemental sacrifice!
